# Trend filter module

Sampo adjusts its trading strategy in accordance with the prevailing global market trends. It mitigates losses during downtrends, secures profits at the onset of a crash, averages positions at the commencement of growth, and actively trades during flat/growth phases.

Here is an example of how Sampo identifies historical global BTC trends:
